Hey my name is Matthew Hatley. I am 16 and I always loved the weather ever since I was a baby. I used to stand at the door and watch the lightning during thunderstorms. I was a little chap when I used to do that. I am a meterologist for mainly the southeast but occasinally I do forecasts for the whole country. I do my best to give information about the weather to people who ask me what the weather will be like for the day, or the week. My favorite time of the year is winter. I do the best weather forecasting during the winter. I enjoy all of the people who view my forecast, but not only mine but all the other forecasters at Weatheradvance.com

Hi Dustin. I think that the begining of winter will hit the East coast by mid-December. Now i can’t tell you when the first storm will hit, but I can tell you that this winter will return with a vengeance

    Hey Matt,

in middle of August i stoped hearing the morning birds sing. And dont see alot of birds no more all’s i see is a BUNCH of black and brown squirrals with walnuts and acorns and seeing huge spider webs and spiders. Does that mean a sign of a bad winter is on it’s way??

Matthew, it was a beautiful day over NC, nice temperatures, low humidity, and a light breeze, what a nice refresher from the summer heat, and it appears we may have an even stronger shot of cold air coming in about 8-10 days.

Yeah usually these kind of signs point to a bad winter ahead.
