A General Consensus

There is coming into range a general consensus between the models of an all snow event for The I-95 major cities and for it to be at least 1-3″ of snow From D.C to Baltimore, all the way to NYC. The Euro run really blows up this storm. We will have to wait and see what it does with this coming 12Z run, also I think the models are starting to catch onto the cold air that is available for this storm. One final note as well. The Euro model as the NAO going negative again as we head into the first parts of January. Looks good for a snow system then too along I-95 and north and west. Another update later. But if you live in the big cities expect at least 1-3″ if snow. Im about 60% positive of this right now. Have a nice day everyone.

Ok so dante what about north and west of NYC? Will north central nj be in like a 5-8 inch range depending on if indeed the storm does strengthen?

@Armando. Here we go lowering the snowfall totals. This sucks were prob gonna get nothing

Gfs has the snow from central pa and new York back to the lakes. Euro has a nice snowstorm on us. Which one do u believe?? I’m not getting my hopes up. I’ll believe it when it actually happens

Well Yamahas don’t give up on this storm we could have something on our hands if it strengthens. Also do you think if the two waves combine won’t it make that stronger? the GFS always corrects itself at the last minute, and it always inconsistent. To be honest the canadian did a great job with the recent storm so i’m trusting the canadian and waiting on the newest euro model run

Knowing how in NYC you need just about EVERYTHING to go right to get a decent storm I’m just expecting the low end of this storm to hit and if we get n inch or two more it would be a nice surprise..
