Matthew

Hey my name is Matthew Hatley. I am 16 and I always loved the weather ever since I was a baby. I used to stand at the door and watch the lightning during thunderstorms. I was a little chap when I used to do that. I am a meterologist for mainly the southeast but occasinally I do forecasts for the whole country. I do my best to give information about the weather to people who ask me what the weather will be like for the day, or the week. My favorite time of the year is winter. I do the best weather forecasting during the winter. I enjoy all of the people who view my forecast, but not only mine but all the other forecasters at Weatheradvance.com

Wow, I must say good snowfall map Matthew, really like how you went into detail on this clipper system and it looks very realistic, and I like you’re thinking on it, good job.

Thank you Eric. I worked on the map very hard, the reason why it was hard because you have to look at all the models and come to an agreement with it, but I know you know this already, lol.

Lol, good job though, I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into it. I wish I knew how to create beautiful maps like that, you definitely got me beat there, honestly has to be one of the best snow accumulation maps you made.

You got that right, that especially applies to weather forecasting, even if you are really talented at it, if you don’t have the experience like the others guys do you’re at a clear disadvantage.

So guys I’m hearing from a couple forecasters that there’s still the chance this Friday storm can get pushed out to sea :( is this true?

Matthew Do you think this is possible for Lenoir? It is on AOL weather and it just appeared today. It could disappear tomorrow…Looks to me on your map above it would not be. Thanks Cassie

Right now the timing is perfect because of the cold air and the precipitation is right but according to the models, this storm is going to lack moisture so that might affect the amount of snow NC will get.
  12. Maranda
Will Jacksonville NC get snow from this??

Will central ny be affected by this Friday storm? Could there be a change in direction?
