GFS Model Trend Brings Concern, but Euro, NAM, Canadian Show Major I-95 Snow…

Just a quick update. The Euro model roared in last night with a classic storm for I-95 snow. The GFS has a classic snow as well. So there is agreement there. But where the question lye is the strength. The Euro gives DC- Boston North a good 6-10″ of snow (Along I-95) The GFS gives DC/Balt 3″+ and Philly like 1-3. Still a lot can change. I will try and have another update later. This is an update on the January 24-27th Storm.

Whats your thoughts on this upcoming snowstorm for the Mid Atlantic on January 24th & 25th? I live in norther Lancaster county in a town called Manheim Pennsylvania. I would love to see a nice 6 inches plus of snow but a nice BLOCKBUSTER snowstorm would be nice but we all know that will not happen. LOL

Hey mike D and others, anything could happen with this storm friday and i’m getting a little nervous because we need these two features to phase early enough and get this storm to blow up off the coast! Really could use a 6-12 storm badly!

They are not really saying anything about southern VA looks to me like maybe one to two inches possible but i know nothing as much as y’all what do you think
South central va wish it would snow this makes two years with only about one inch a year

    @ Armando
I couldn’t agree with you more. We need a good storm. Joe Bastardi seems to remain fairly confident the two storms will phase at the right time and produce some pretty good snows. Also, with alot of cold air in place the snow ratios would be pretty high, so it wouldnt take a ton of moisture to rack up some good numbers. Hopefully everything falls into place!
