Ideas are not changed for Friday

For those who have given up hope on this event in the mid-altlantic, dont.  The Euro and the GFS have more of an amplified storm than their last runs and the GFS tends to move lows to the west within time . Lets see what the outcome will be this evening and tonight. Im expecting better. Stay Tuned..

Hay i am really happy. sorry for you people in the northeast but we are looking to see up to 3 inches. that may not aound like a lot to y’all but to us here in the southside of va that is a good snow. But not when we are talkin about 3 inches in two winters we normally see about 7 to 8 a year what is going on will winters every come back

I live in the western suburbs of NYC and agree. The NYC newscasters were very conservative with their forecast, but made it clear that it would be a plowable storm. They said flurries last night and are starting to trend back now. This shows that they are models huggers and don’t analyze the weather. I’d say 2-4+ for NYC. We’ll see, storm has to get over rockies before an accurate and final forecast can be released.
