WEATHER ADVANCE ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY

This is a serious warning to those who use derogatory statements and who are being verbally abusive. This is considered harassment and is punishable by law. WeatherAdvance.com has a strict policy on this course of action which has been accepted by all who have registered accounts with WeatherAdvance.com. If rules are broken it will immediately cause a ban of your profile on the website and a ban from the site. In severe cases legal action can be pursued. This is your only warning; Children come on to this site. Vulgar language is not approved in any form nor abusive speech just for the sake of arguments that aren’t constructive or have any facts or basis to it. It is also against company policy.

TO USERS OF WEATHERADVANCE.COM:

All comments and posts if you do not have anything constructive to say do not say anything at all. We do not mind being corrected mildly if we are wrong in some way, but bashing any of the storm team members will force us to give you a verbal warning through e-mail. If it happens a second time, you will be banned from weather advance for 6 months which means you can come to the site but you will not be allowed to comment.

THANK YOU!! You are my hero, lol I think this statement just about sums things up for Yamahas, I just wish he could get it into his little brain that if he continues what he’s doing, he may face some serious trouble with the law. “considered harassment and is punishable by law” “In severe cases legal action can be pursued.”

This is great……but Yamahas won’t think anything of it. He will continue his awful behavior, and create different users.

Thank you for the zero tolerance rule Dante.. I really do like coming on here and seeing you along with your team prefict the weather season. Matthew and Eric and of course u Dante are my favs on here..

Thank you Dante, for making this rule and banning yamahas. He always critisized my work and had nothing positive to say. I know I dont get everything right, but I do my best and thats what counts.

Dante, I have no clue what has been going on, but I do want to say that I don’t care for Matthew . I have enjoyed reading Erik’s ,Jason and your posts over the time and you all don’t post much any more. I feel like Matthew gets his stuff from other places and then copies and pastes. Yes he adds pretty colors but to me there is more to the weather. Would really love to see more of you , Erik and Jason. When I only see Matthews posts I don’t even continue, have even thought about not coming to your site at all anymore which is sad cause it’s a very informative site when others post.

For your information hockey mom I do my own work and you know what I know I’m not a professional. How dare you think I copy other people’s work. I do my best, I’m only 16 and I’m still in school. I just cant wave some magic out of my fingers and get everything right. I only make everything colorful because it gets peoples attention. I work hard at what I do when I can. I’m not trying to start anything but you could watch your choice of words and give professional criticism. I have feelings, and that just made me upset.

Alright i like the rule but i do think were all taking it a little to far here. it is a weather forum. we don’t need to bring the law into this. yes yamahas harasses some of you but i dont think we need to bring the law into this. its just a bunch of us blogging about weather. no need to harass people and no need to get people in that much trouble. i would delete his account at the most. lets not go over board here guys.

The legal part comes in when it comes to threatening of life. IF it gets to that point its a federal offense, which is not in our hands. We are warning of the different levels of harassment that there are, some are worse than others. We are not pressing any charges, this is a warning to all about what is expected and not expected on this website and the notification that if it gets to the point where someone threatens life, its no longer in our hands and it is against the law to threaten another persons life. We are going to follow the course of our website policy as he has not broken any laws currently, but if it comes to something major like the threatening of life, then that’s a whole norther issue, then its out of our hands. Its a warning nothing more, nothing less.

Sorry I stepped on your toes Matthew , and yes I know you are a 16 yr old and still going to school, I just voiced my opinion and last time I checked we were in the USA where we do have the freedom of speech. Like I said Sorry I stepped on you toes.

Its ok hockeymom. Usually things like what you said dont get on my nerves. But I wasnt in a very good mood yesterday, it was another boring Monday and some people just got on my nerves yesterday. You didnt do anything. I apoligize for getting angry like that.

Hi Dante-Royal Brown

Can you post some updates if you have on the expected snowstorm for this weekend in the North East. I live in NYC and the weather channel is saying it wont be cold enough for a lot of snow. There saying Boston is expected to get around 24 inches. Do you think NYC get can a lot of snow like 12 inches or more and if it will be cold enough. You always say the models are underestimating the cold. Do you think this is happening.

prairiedog12, it was not just Yamahas fighting or harassing, this was more. It was severe harassment. To the point that some people who don’t know better would……hopefully no words are needed to describe these actions.

I’m with Dan here guys, can we get some information on this storm? As of right now, the NWS here in Taunton, Mass has issued a Winter Storm Watch for most of southern New England.. This is supposed to be the biggest storm this area has seen in 2 YEARS! They’re calling for 12-20 inches! Anybody got a post coming for this sucker????? Eric? Matthew? Dante? C’mon boys! Thanks in advance!

Well…look at the Euro this morning. It is beautiful with a swath of snow over a foot from central and northern NJ past NYC, providence, and Boston.
