Tornado Alley Looks Set For String Of 4-5 days of Severe Weather

Im going to be frank, those who live in western Texas, And Western Oklahoma are under the greatest risk of tornadoes over this upcoming week. One thing that we start looking at around this time of year is the dry line. That is where the warm moist air comes against Hot, and very dry air. Along with the jet stream involved can lean to a severe weather outbreak. A stalled out front will pretty much sit over the plain states and provide severe weather all through tornado ally. Current dew points just east of the Texas boarder are in the upper 50’s and 60’s and temperatures are in the 80’s. this does not spell well for that combination and it would not surprise me to see a few tornadoes spawn up today in Texas and Oklahoma and maybe even Nebraska. Remember to make your safety plans now, and be weather Safe.
