Its that time of year when the forecast start showing the colder air in the long range and gives you a feel of things to come. Here is a picture of the long range GFS, courtesy of the weather bell website.
This is the 264hour. Not only does it show it on the GFS it shows it on the Euro as well.
This August though not the coolest came close to the August in which several state broke several Records. The Winter following that summer was very snowy with a Late start and a snowy Finish. Central New Jersey had 33.8 inches of snow that winter which is Above Average. Now I’m not coming to a conclusion that just because we had a cool August means we will have a snowy winter, but ideas are flying.
