About Matthew

Hey, My name is Matt im 17 years old. I am a weatherforecaster for the southeast United States. I have always loved the weather ever since I was a kid. Sometimes me and my dad will chase storms just for fun. I have captured some incredible and intense weather before and hope to continue that. I have expereinced a tornado, and a tropical storm. I have also experienced severe ice-storms and heavy snowfall. I am just facinated with the weather. My favorite season during the year is winter. I like the cold brisk days and the snow on the ground. When it comes to forecasting the weather i do my best, and get the information people want, out there.

  1. hi there Matthew by the look of your FINAL 2013-2014 WINTER FORECAST it looks like this winter 2013 2014 going to be pertty decent for me i live in southwestard ohio.
  2. Hi Matthew, just wonder, The Weather Channel and many other winter weather prediction sources said that we will start out with a moderate winter in the northeast and then get worse into late winter. Do you agree?
  3. Eric do you see any possible snow for my area anytime soon? And if it does snow later this month could that mean no snow for this winter? I’m asking because liveweatherblogs are saying after November 22nd there could be snow in the inland midatlantic.
  4. Hello Matthew, I am so excited for this winter because you put Chicago inside the “Harsh Winter Brutally Cold and Very Snowy” area. I have a question about the storm tracks. Do you think the most common storm track for Chicago will be the Panhandle Cutter, the Alberta Clipper, or the Colorado Low?
