A Very Cold Day In The East Tuesday With a Thaw Later in the Week

Arguably the coldest air of the season is set to plunge into the the eastern half of the nation. The Midwest is already feeling the bitter cold air and that will spread east. This air will be dangerously cold especially after sunset when a lot of areas will go bellow zero tonight! That’s right folks not just freezing, bellow ZERO.  Freezing temperatures can be expected all the way down into Florida. Temperatures all the way into the big cities will be singled digits tomorrow morning, While temperatures should stay bellow freezing for the entire day. Bellow are the projected temperatures by about sunrise eastern time. Areas like Pittsburgh may be 5-10 degrees bellow zero. People this is a serious event, please keep your children indoors, and direct the homeless to shelters or lend a helping hand if possible. Warmer weather is on the horizon with temperatures rebounding in most of the eastern half of the US as we head into mid-late week. Temperatures along the east coast may even flirt with the 50′s come this weekend, Which will be good considering all the cold and snow that has effected the Northeast over the past several weeks. I will have a post on the warm up later today or tomorrow, as well as our next weather system, that will bring rain and snow, and I will talk about for what areas too.
