Behind a strong cold front that will bring some of the coldest air of the season to areas of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, there appears (at least based on the last few run of the GFS) that there is a possibility of some light snow showers this upcoming weekend in areas of Maine and norther Vermont and New Hampshire, you also may see some in northern New York. This will be nothing more than conversational snow, but for those of you who are snow lovers this feels good. Here is your seven day outlook for areas of New England in General.
Whatever the case may be the one thing that we will definitely see in the east is some very frigid temperatures. Several areas may see there growing season end, as the first freezes of the season are quite possible over the interior of the northeast. The Big Cities (Boston,Philadelphia, New York City and Washington DC) should all be in the 30’s and 40’s which is still frost territory as we head into Saturday night (Sunday Morning). We will keep you updated on any and all weather events like this in the near future.
