Finally it appears that some snow may be on the way for the mid-Atlantic. This will be set up by a cold front right on time with a developing low pressure system in the south. Huge problem for areas Like Washington dc and Baltimore and maybe even Philadelphia? Well looks like there will not be any really cold air up to the north of the storm system. So what will start as snow will likely change over to sleet and then rain and back to snow. A classic slop storm. There are not many details on this yet as the models have been inconsistent with the placement of the low pressure system and it is a week away so we have to wait and see where this wobbles off too. Will be interesting to watch. We will keep you updated.
