Snow Looks To Miss Southern Mid-Atlantic, But Blizzard Conditions Possible in Coastal New England

Earlier this week we mentioned the possibility of a coastal winter storm significantly effecting the northeast and Mid-Atlantic. While there is still a chance of snow in areas like, Richmond, DC and Baltimore, it is looking like light snow showers or flurries at the most with no accumulation as the low pressure looks to remain far enough off the coast. The Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware, Philadelphia and New York City are like the wildcards of the group, as the storm could possibly provide some accumulating snowfall. It is probable that accumulating snowfall will occur in Boston and along Long Island. Blizzard conditions may also be possible. Snowfall maps will be made tonight as preliminary estimates. Our final Maps will come either Monday or early Tuesday morning.
