May And June Temperatures Above Average

May and June may have been giving us a bit of a warning as to how our summer was going to go. Several states were much above average temperature wise and even a few states were in record breaking territory.

The analysis for the Month of July is not out yet. But given how warm it was over the entire lower 48 during the month you can probably chalk up another month to being above average temperature wise.

One of the stranger things is that the West Coastal states were all much warmer than average in the month of June. Something we typically don’t hear or see.
